Rough draft

The Pillsbury Brothers moved their ladies shoe factory from Northwood to Tilton in 1869 ?.  Having had a summer lake compound on Northwood lake they purchased an old farm on Lake Winnisquam as a replacement summer haven.  That property is now the Ferry Point House.  William and Mable, the heirs to the Pillsbury estate built the Bungalo next door and purchased much of the surrounding farm which included much of the lakefront.
